Emotions at Work: navigating professional growth

Cream background with lines, metaphor for navigating emotions in the workplace.

Why we created Emotions at Work

In spring 2021, I met Tomomi Sasaki in a Newfield Network Zoom room. We hit it off, and just kept going.

In parallel to building our respective 1-1 coaching practices, we've partnered to create a space where people can be in healthy dialogue with others about how our emotions affect who we are at work.

To reflect on work experiences from a different angle.
To learn how to build upon emotions, instead of pushing them aside.
To support each other in re-writing old stories that are holding us back.

Our online group program Emotions at Work is designed to fill the gap and help more people deepen their resilience in the face of change and uncertainty and unlock higher professional satisfaction and growth.

If you’re curious about how to articulate personal aspiration amidst fear and anxiety, set boundaries at work with courage, identify old stories that lead to frustration and cynicism, and unblock what lies in the way of trust with curiosity, we’d love to have you join.

What the group program looks like

  • 5 x 90min live sessions on Zoom, every other Thursday

  • Small group of 6-10 people

  • A mix of theory and practice, with a different topic each session

  • Topic examples: confidence, saying no, making effective requests, trust in the workplace, managing expectations, navigating difficult conversations

You can learn more about the program and register your interest here.

Coaching is beneficial if you’re seeking some kind of change in your personal or professional growth. This group program is likely a good fit if you desire to strengthen your confidence, navigate difficult conversations with ease, cultivate and deepen trust with your team, and reach new levels of satisfaction and fulfillment at work.

No prior experience or knowledge is required. We simply ask that you come ready to learn as part of a collaborative group process and share your experience and perspective.

Let’s work together

This month I’ve supported clients in setting boundaries and saying ‘no’, navigating workplace burnout, and creating plans for their professional growth.

I’d love to support you to do the same.

Send me a message or check out ways we can work together: from 1:1 coaching to participating in my group program Navigating Emotions at Work.
